SUCCESSFUL PARTICIPATION OF ECUADORIAN PRODUCTS IN THE SHOW INDULGE LA

  • The Commercial Office of Ecuador in Los Angeles, together with companies Natluk of shrimp, Pacari and Kallari of dark chocolate, participated for the first time in the show Indulge L.A.

The event was held in Los Angeles, California, in the Olympic Collection center on Saturday, September 24. Indulge L.A. was organized by the Barcelona Event Marketing, Advertising, Design. The event was attended by representatives from more than 60 companies and more than 1,000 visitors.

Natluk, Kallari and Pacari, with management of Pro Ecuador were “sponsors” of the event and delivered to Indulge L.A., shrimp and chocolate, to be used in the creation of salt and sweet products, such as snacks and desserts created by celebrity chefs from United States.

Some attendees were Marcel Vigneron (Top Chef), Jean-Marie Auboin (Master Chocolatier and recognized Pastry Chef), Stephane Treanda (industry veteran of the culinary arts and foundert ofpastry schoo “The Art of Pastry”), among others. Shrimp from the enterprise Natluk were used by the same chefs to prepare delicious shrimp sandwiches that fascinated the audience during the event. Ecuador had a special section allocated for the solo exhibition of Ecuadorian products; it was strategically located in the center of the room, allowing the products on display flashed wide. Natluk’s Shrimps were displayed and tasted likewise in an important section of the lounge, next to the star chef who prepared them.

Representatives of the companies were pleased by the opportunity to participate in this important event to promote their products. In this regard, it should be noted that this activity not only resulted in the exposure of Ecuadorian chocolates but in strengthening the country's image as a producer of high quality goods with added value.
