Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño announced President Rafael Correa’s visit to Europe
April 11th, 2013.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Integration, Ricardo Patiño, announced that he will accompany President Rafael Correa in the official visit that will meet in Germany. The tour also included Spain and Italy, where he will hold meetings with business and Ecuadorians living in European countries. Ecuador and Japan sign agreement and ratify their good relations
April 9th, 2013.- Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Integration, Ricardo Patiño, subscribed with the Plenipotentiary Extraordinary Ambassador from Japan, Toru Kodaki, the Agreement by Exchange of Notes for approximately $3,600,000 million dollars, for the acquisition of audiovisual and educational documentaries for the video libraries of the Ecuadorian Public Radio and Television, E.P. RTVECUADOR. The project is based on the outlines of financial cooperation non refundable and it will be implemented with the main purpose of contributing to the improvement of quality of the Ecuadorian public television. OAS´s Resolution accepts Ecuador´s proposal to continue the debate for strengthening the SIDH
March 25th, 2013.- The State members of the Organization of American States (OAS) in the resolution of the Extraordinary General Assembly committed themselves to continue dialoguing about the fundamental aspects for the strengthening of the Inter-American System of Human Rights (SIDH), taking into account all of the contributions made by the States, the System´s corpses and the Civil Society along the reflection process, as well as the debates in the current Extraordinary General Assembly.
